BEYOND THE PINES MTB JAM BRINGS THE STOKE

To celebrate the release of 'Beyond The Pines' our Hazy Double IPA, we partnered with the legends from Margaret River Off Road Cycling Association (MRORCA) to put on a fun & social MTB Jam for the local community.

"We've always wanted to hold an event out in the Pines trails to show our support for our local MTB community. The timing of our release of Beyond The Pines and some great weather conditions just worked out really well" said Kelly-Ann Bunney, Marketing Manager for Margaret River Beer Co.

With over 60 people turning up to ride, spectate and just be part of the fun, it was a great afternoon. With a great range of ages and riding abilities on show.

"We ran a social jam session across the two trails followed by a Whip Off on the Mad Hatters trail. A chance for everyone to have a crack, no matter what their skill level. There was plenty of air and cheers from the crowd, all captured perfectly by the photographers there on the day." Kelly said.

After raising funds to assist in the rebuild of the Stumpel Stiltskin trail in the Pines network in late 2024, it made sense to host the event between here at Mad Hatters, another trail recently developed by local volunteers through MRORCA.

"The Mad Hatter trail upgrade delivered some significantly bigger jumps compared to other trails in the network - it's pretty extreme!" said Damien Barton from MRORCA.

"We're really happy to see that this area has become a really popular part of the pines." Damien said.

Fun prizes were given away for things like Best Whip, Most Buckled Wheel, Youngest Rider, Oldest Rider and more.
